Paolo's requires a strong work ethic and total dedication to an excellent guest experience. We have an open kitchen with counter seating and an interactive and enthusiastic base clientele of regular guests. Successful candidates will be dependable, punctual, humble and bring an enthusiastic attitude to our team.
Job Includes:
-Setting up station according to Paolo's guidlines
-Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
-Follow recipes, portion controls and presentation specs as directed by the Chef.
-Restock items as needed throughout shift.
-Cleans and maintains station practicing good safety, sanitation and organization skills.
-Has an understanding and knowledge of proper use and ability to maintain all equipment in station.
-Assits with cleaning, sanitation and organization of kitchen, walk-in, coolers and storage areas.
-Willing to jump in and assist where needed when called upon and display a sense of urgency.
Required skills:
--Professional cooking technique and knife handling skills.
--Ability and willingness to speak, read and comprehend instuctions, policy and training documents as well as converse comfortably and professionally with guests, co-workers and managers.
--Ability to take direction.
--Ability to work in a team environment.
--Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
--Must have problem solving skills, be self motivated and organized with attention to detail.
This job will spend 100% of the work time standing.
